Objective

The primary objective of Stage 1 is to collect information that will assist the Executive to understand the scope of the benefits (cost savings, additional revenues, performance improvements) possible to the organisation from undertaking the project.

This will provide a first indication of the nature of the business case to be developed.

Deliverable

The primary deliverable from this stage is a proposal that will outline how the project will be undertaken and the possible potential benefits of undertaking the project. The prime responsibility for preparation of the proposal will belong to the project leader and the tasks listed below will need to be completed in order to put together the proposal.
